This Privacy Policy explains how Soul Brew Coffee & Brunch handles information collected through https://soulbrew.coffee/.
Who we are
Soul Brew Coffee & Brunch serves customers through its St. James and Bellmore locations. Privacy questions and personal-data requests may be sent to info@soulbrew.coffee.
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to route, review and respond to café, catering, event and other inquiries.
The automatic email acknowledgment confirms receipt and routing only. It does not mean a staff member has reviewed or accepted a request.
Technical and security information
Future contact-form entries are configured not to store the submitter’s IP address. The form uses a built-in anti-spam honeypot. Hosting, security and embedded-service systems may still process technical information such as IP address, browser or device details when needed to operate, secure or deliver the website.
Email delivery records
The website keeps limited email-delivery and debugging metadata for up to one week to help diagnose whether website messages were sent. Future message bodies and attachments are not stored in the website’s email log. Historical records created under earlier settings may remain until their configured lifecycle expires.
Online store
Online checkout and payment processing on this website are currently paused. Visitors may still browse catalog pages. WordPress and WooCommerce may process session, account, cart or viewed-product information needed to display those features. If online purchasing resumes, this policy should be updated to describe the approved payment, order, shipping, tax, refund and account practices.
External services and embedded content
The website links to or embeds services used for food ordering, gift cards, maps, fonts, social content and customer reviews. These include ChowNow, Square-hosted gift-card experiences, Google Maps, Google Fonts, Instagram, Facebook and Trustindex. SiteGround hosts the website, and ManageWP supports site management and backups.
When you follow an external link or interact with embedded content, the provider may receive technical or usage information and apply its own privacy policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies or similar technologies needed for login, security, sessions, account, cart or product-view features. Embedded maps, social content, reviews and other third-party services may use technologies controlled by those providers. Browser controls may allow you to limit cookies, but disabling essential cookies can affect site functionality.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, maintain service records and troubleshoot delivery. Authorized Soul Brew personnel and approved service providers may access information when needed for those purposes. We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary for legal, administrative, fraud-prevention or security obligations.
Retention
Contact-form entries are configured to move to Trash after 365 days. Moving an entry to Trash is not the same as immediate permanent erasure. Data may remain in Trash or hosting backups until the applicable administrative or provider lifecycle removes it. Restoring a backup may reintroduce information that was removed from the live site.
Email delivery and debugging metadata is configured for one-week retention. Other information may be retained when needed for legal, administrative, security or operational purposes.
Access, export and erasure requests
You may contact info@soulbrew.coffee to ask about personal information associated with you or to request access, export or erasure. We may need to verify your identity and authority before processing a request. A request may not apply to information that must be retained for legal, administrative, fraud-prevention or security purposes.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when the website, service providers or business practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
